Dobinsons WA59-520K Details

Dobinsons WA59-520K Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms for Toyota and Lexus – These are adjustable rear lower control or sometimes called trailing arms, to be used on any vehicle lifted or not, up to 4″ of lift. This kit comes with both side lower arms and also includes a full poly bush kit. Rubber bushings now come pressed into the Dobinsons WA59-520K arms, as they are maintenance and noise-free. Rubber bushings allow for greater flex (travel).  These adjustable arms will allow you to properly set your rear pinion angle due to adding a lift, while also adding strength over the stock arms. Suitable also for long travel rear suspension setups.
NOTE: The Dobinsons WA59-520K threaded end goes towards the frame end with the metal protector facing downwards, and the curved section of the arm faces downwards, to relieve the angle where the bushing meets the axle so that the axle can rotate without stressing the end of the Dobinsons WA59-520K arm.  This is done instead of offsetting the bushings at the end, making them as strong as possible.
Instructions for use: Set the initial length to the same as factory arms, then add 1/2″ or so to the overall length.  Install, then check the pinion angle, then add at 1/2″ increments until your pinion angle is set properly.  Adding too much length could lead to driveline vibrations.  What this does is sets your pinion angle, and also you can center the wheel in the rear wheel well, as with more lift added to the vehicle, the tire starts to move forward in the wheel well.

Dobinsons heavy duty rear trailing arms are the most affordable on the market, while adding necessary strength to the rear end.  The last thing you want when you offroad a lot is a bent rear trailing arm, as this affects your rear end alignment and your vehicle will not track straight down the road.  With 5mm thick wall tubing, you can’t go wrong with a set of these.
