Description

These greasable Tacoma pins replace the factory bolts at the ends of the leaf springs to enable you to grease the Dobinsons greasable bush kit, and will suit the following vehicles:

Toyota Tacoma 2005-2023

Toyota Tundra 2007-2021

Toyota Hilux Vigo

Toyota Hilux Revo

Nissan Frontier D40

Nissan Frontier D41

Ford Ranger 2019+

Can be used on the fixed end, or on the shackle end. Order 2 greasable Tacoma kits for 4 bolts total, enough for 1 vehicle. **If used on the shackle end, an additional washer or 2 MUST be placed under the head of the bolt so that the nut end does not make contact with the frame. Normally this bolt is inserted with the head towards the frame, but because of the grease fitting on the head of the bolt, it has to go in reverse, and this can cause contact. The bolt does not come with the additional washer or two that you may need. Check for clearances BEFORE driving the vehicle!!

Grease is supposed to go between the bolt and the bushing sleeve, as well as go thru the bushing sleeve to the inner diameter of the bushing so that it can all move freely during articulation. Grease is NOT supposed to be on the outer diameter of the bushing and the inner diameter of the leaf spring eye, as it is not supposed to rotate or move there. If it does, it will create noise, like a creaking and it will drive you crazy!!!
