Description

This is a single rear poly coil spacer to help correct for vehicle lean once a vehicle has been lifted, if a lean exists.  It is 15mm (0.6″) thick.  This will add the same amount of lift as its thickness to help level up the vehicle.  These CANNOT be stacked, only 1 can be used per coil spring.

While some people have an issue with a spacer, they need to remember that to level a vehicle out from left to right, a shim like this is what is normally used.  A shim and a small spacer are the same thing, specifically to level out the vehicle.  A “coil spacer lift kit” that many brands sell are offered to cheaply add height to a vehicle by using 1″, 2″, or sometimes 3″ thick spacers on top of original suspension, but that’s not the objective here.

This rear spacer will suit all rear coil springs that use the factory top rubber coil spring isolator, for these vehicles:

Toyota 4th Gen 4Runner – 2003 to 2009

Toyota 5th Gen 4Runner – 2010 to 2024

Toyota FJ Cruiser – all years

Lexus GX470 – all years

Lexus GX460 – all years

Toyota Prado 120 – all years

Toyota Prado 150 – all years

This rear spacer can also be used on vehicles with KDSS, as offset height rear coils, or a spacer on top of one side if even height coils are used, is recommended.  When a vehicle with KDSS is lifted 2″ or more, the fixed side sway bar link has become too short and “holds up” that side of the vehicle and ends up causing a lean.  By adding this small lean spacer on top of the passenger side on KDSS vehicles, it helps push that side back down and correct the vehicle lean so that the vehicle sits correctly from left to right.  Factory vehicles do come with a lean, and most people don’t ever  notice it until after they have done a lift and realized just how much the vehicle can be different from one side to another.  You would either run one of these spacers or the Treaty Oak KDSS spacer kit to help correct the geometry when lifted.

Remember: New Toyota vehicles come with a 1/4″ to 1/2″ lean from the factory, so anything within that range is considered “OK”.
