Shipping Lead Times and Info

ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival, and ESTIMATED these days means really really rough estimate!!!

Please remember, you are mail ordering parts, and they’re heavy usually and it takes some time for the warehouse guys to get everything organized and shipped out, in some cases.

High value orders ship with signature required, so that a $4000 suspension isn’t left at your front door for a porch pirate to steal, then you’re out of a suspension.

Here’s a brief summary of some commonly asked questions.

Average warehouse lead time for a new and in-stock order to ship out is 1-3 business days for a simple order and 3-5 business days for a full suspension kit or an order with a lot of components. Adding strut assembly will always add extra time for an order to be completed, usually a few days, depending on how backed up the assembly line is.

Fuel tanks and freight shipment items like bumpers (parts shipped out on pallets), allow up to 5-8 business days for the item to leave the warehouse, depending on warehouse workloads.

What is a backorder? A backorder is an order placed against parts that aren’t in stock yet, but are on the way. When something says “Available on backorder” or “Item is on Backorder” on this website, it means we are taking orders for those parts that are not yet in stock. Due to huge demand over the past year and more difficulty getting products shipped from overseas, many people have no choice other than to place a backorder and wait for their products to arrive, as it’s very common for some parts that arrive in a container to be completely sold out when they arrive. NOTE: Different coil color options are NOT tracked on the website for whether or not they are in stock. If the coil is in stock, that means in one coil or another. Reach out to us if you need to check the colors available before ordering.

Shipping Times – Due to international logistics issues far beyond anyone’s control, many container deliveries have been impacted with huge transit delays. Prior to 2020, it would take about 6 weeks or 45 days to get a container from Australia to the USA. Right now, it takes 3 months at least (12-13 weeks) for that same container and the cost of shipping has more than quadrupled due to the demand and shortage of containers and space on ships as well. This is why some parts are taking 4-5 months to come in, accounting for production time and transit time. So if something is not in stock and not on the way yet, it will be at least 3-4 months until it comes in. It’s not uncommon for a container to arrive 1-2 weeks after its original ETA.

Tracking Numbers – Tracking numbers are emailed out as soon as the order is completed. Please don’t ask for a tracking number, it means it hasn’t shipped yet. Check your email and your spam folder daily a few days after the order is placed and you will get those emails. A master tracking number is what is emailed in all cases for suspension kits. The master tracking number will show you on the Fedex or UPS website that it is “Package 1 of 3” for example, and when you scroll down and read the whole page, you can see the tracking number and status for each package and how many packages there are. 99% of the time, multiple packages do NOT arrive on the same truck, even though they leave on the same truck.
