Description

Pair of Dobinsons IMS59-50635 Internal Reservoir Monotube shocks.  These come with new rubber bushings and required washers for installation.  Select Dobinsons springs based on desired lift height and load capacity.  Springs are all based on desired lift height, how much weight your vehicle has added over stock, and what type of ride quality you are looking for once it’s all been installed.

Dobinsons IMS Monotube IMS59-50635 Shock Absorbers are designed for next level performance over Twin Tube Shocks in those hot, harsh, demanding conditions. By utilising the Monotube design, Dobinsons IMS59-50635 Shock Absorbers are able to resist fade far longer on corrugated roads, long or hard working 4WD trips, towing or racing conditions.

The larger 50 and 60mm high flow pistons reduce internal pressures, reduce the heat generated, transfer heat to the body for faster cooling and offer improved damping performance and vehicle control at higher shaft speeds on rough terrain and during big impacts. Threaded bodies on struts allow for fine tuning of height and offer further improvements in cooling.

The micro-polished, hard chromed and heat treated shock shaft, CNC aluminum high flow race inspired piston, and DOM seamless tubing body provides the ultimate in performance and off-road durability.

Composite piston wear bands and a race style 3-stage sealing system offer the lowest levels of friction whilst maintaining durability and longevity. Dobinsons team of engineers spend hundreds of hours of testing and tuning the shim stacks and damping characteristics in each IMS Shock to ensure a balance of comfort, handling, vehicle control and offroad performance – Enjoy the ride

    Dobinsons Front IFS Diff Drop Kit | Tacoma 4Runner FJ Cruiser GX470 GX460
    • Suits 2005-23 Toyota Tacoma, 2003-2024 4Runner, 2007-16 FJ Cruiser, Lexus GX470, GX460
    • Keeps CV angles at a good working angle
    • Suitable for lifts over 2.0″.  There’s really no benefit to adding them if there’s less lift than 2.0″
    • Includes all necessary hardware, including machined spacers and nuts/bolts
    • Includes 2 different lengths of the long bolts as some vehicles need them longer than others
    • Compliments Dobinsons 3″ lifts for IFS Toyota and Lexus vehicles
    • Simply remove the front skid plate, remove the 2 long bolts at the front of the diff, install the spacers and long bolts supplied, install the skid plate spacers and longer bolts supplied while reinstalling the skid plate
    • Note: Some aftermarket skid plates have spacers built-in so the small spacers aren’t necessary, and some skid plates may use larger bolts to install it to the vehicle, requiring modification to the supplied spacers
