The JT Gladiator, when we started designing the suspension kits, we wanted the best, best in ride, handling, and articulation. We have done miles of testing in the desert and mountains of the west coast to the moss-covered mountain roads in Tennessee and North Carolina to the swamps of Florida and driven many highway miles in between. After doing this, we were confident to have the best coil spring design and knew our customers would appreciate having the best coil spring that could be built..

The design of the Rusty’s 2” coils for the Jeep JT suspension kit was done in collaboration with the engineers and manufacturing team at Eibach. With Rusty’s 45 plus years in the off-road and jeep industry and Eibach’s experience in coil spring design and manufacturing, we came up with a coil spring that offers remarkable handling manners, a quality ride around town, on the highway and even riding down an old red clay pothole road. We developed a dual rate progressive rear coil spring and a linear front coil.  Special front upper and lower coil spring isolators are used to keep the coils nice and straight. These isolators are an exclusive Rusty’s design keeps the isolators form bowing the coil springs. The kit also comes with front brake line extentions and a double shear mount for the rear sway bar mount that also extends the rear brake line, an exclusive that only Rusty’s offers. And to keep the vehicle from swaying and handling great, the kit comes with front and rear extended sway bar links.

The front and rear axles are properly centered under the vehicle with new front and rear heavy-duty adjustable track bars rather than inferior drop brackets that regularly break due to the leverage put on them. All of Rusty’s JT suspension kits come with the Rusty’s track bar frame brace, Jeep has had issues with the factory mount ripping from the frame, with the frame brace you can have peace of mind that you never will have a failure. The front axle is secured by a set of Rusty’s beefy 2 inch DOM adjustable “high clearance ” control arms. These arms correct the wheelbase after being lifted and enable the pinion angle and castor to be properly “dialed in”.

Growing from that 2 bay shop to this over 65,000 you think there is no way we will run out of room, well just as soon as we finished our latest construction, we quickly found out how quickly they will fill up. We have worked hard to keep things organized and invested hours in setting up the shipping dept to get parts shipped as fast as we can.

We’re proud to say that we use state-of-the-art equipment to manufacture all of our products right here in the USA. We are constantly investing in new and upgraded equipment that allows us to build better products more efficiently and with a greater degree of accuracy than ever before. Rusty’s has invested in multiple new laser machines, multiple CNC machines, a pair of CNC press breaks, welding robots and much more in order to keep pace with our sales growth and new products production. In-house manufacturing allows us to maintain a level of quality control that could never be matched when outsourcing production.
