Tacoma Firestone Airbag Bundle

Exit Offroad offers the Tacoma Firestone combination of Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags paired with Air Lift Cradles to maximize suspension articulation as well as support varying loads in the bed of the truck.  The reason we offer the Air Lift cradles is so that the airbags are not attached to the frame and the axle, which can lead to decreased articulation and also airbag damage when used with a lifted leaf spring.  Leaving the cradle attached to the axle and the airbag attached to the frame only allows them to separate at full articulation, allowing the axle and suspension to flex as most as possible without stretching out the airbags.  For this reason, Firestone does not warranty their airbags because they are not installed the same way that their instructions show when using the Tacoma Firestone Combo.

Air Spring Cradles allow the air spring to become detached from the lower bracket, allowing full extension of the vehicle’s suspension while providing a seat for the air spring to set into when the suspension is compressed and during everyday driving. The universal air spring cradle fits all Air Lift bellows-style air spring kits and most other brands. The cradle’s design allows it to bolt on up or down based on the air spring.
