What’s the difference between headlights and driving lights?

Driving Lights are designed to add to the reach of the high beam headlights. Unlike low beams, their beams are not designed to control glare at all, and so driving lamps are effective, safe, and legal only for use together with the vehicle’s main high beam headlamps on dark, empty roads (or off road).  You would add these to a separate switch to turn on when you’re out of the way of other vehicles, or you can tie them into your high beam headlight circuit so that when your high beam lights come on, the Dobinsons LED Driving Lights come on without having to turn on a separate switch.
