- Note: Product was updated to bigger/thicker stud of the ball joint in 2020, no longer needing the small sleeve shown in the product video. Some vehicles’ sway bar is too thick to use the thick supplied washer, so reuse the stock washer if necessary

4Runner Sway bar Links
4runner sway bar links (Dobinsons SE59-529) – These are adjustable sway bar extensions to suit 2″ to 4″ of lift, allowing your sway bar to work properly and reset back to it’s factory riding angle on the road. Adjust the rod length according to your lift height, and so that the sway bar is riding as close to a factory position as possible. The base setting should be to add half of your lifted height to the stock length. Take new links, make them the same length as stock, then add exactly half of the lifted lift height amount to them, and check for clearances. If they’re set too long, they will contact the trailing arm. Gold zinc plated, high quality OE style ball end joints, sealed for long life, this kit includes all that you will need.
NOTE: 4runner sway bar links Will NOT work on any vehicle with KDSS

Many people don’t realize that when lifting their vehicle, the sway bar angle because a lot steeper than normal, and this actually affects the wheel travel and ride comfort inside the vehicle. The sway bar links are literally stretched out and causing a type of binding on the rear sway bar not being able to do its job properly. By changing out the original swaybar links to the 4runner swaybar links by Dobinsons, you can set the angle back to a more neutral position, gaining wheel travel, gaining ride comfort, and also helping the swaybar to properly assist the vehicle in keeping it more level when cornering. These 4runner swaybar links should be used at any lift height of over 1.5″ so that you get the proper articulation from your new suspension kit, and are required with a lift height of 2.5″ or more. You’ll also notice that if you don’t have longer sway bar links installed, reinstalling the original links can be quite difficult as they’re very tight on a lifted Toyota or Lexus SUV.
