Description
The ProLink is Factor 55’s original shackle mount. Trusted and used by first responders worldwide, ProLink is easy to install and allows winch owners the ability to replace the vehicle’s winch hook with a stronger shackle/D-Ring mount. Engineered and machined in the USA from lightweight billet 6061 aluminum, ProLink doesn’t require splicing and is compatible with steel or synthetic ropes and both hawse and roller fairleads. The cable eye is retained in the ProLink by an ultra-strong aerospace-grade titanium double-shear pin and internal snap ring, and is easily installed in minutes. The EPDM rubber guards protects alloy fairleads and is securely attached to the ProLink with four barbed tips and prevents rattling. WARNING: Keep forces in line. Do not side load shackle.

Located in Boise, Idaho we are an engineering design firm specializing in mechanical design and analysis. Our staff has extensive experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and semiconductor industry but we have always been passionate about off roading through out our careers. All of our products are designed in house using the latest 3D CAD software and optimized using Cosmos FEA ( Finite Element Analysis). Before we release any products to the public, we also perform a destructive test on each design with the assistance of a test facility equipped with test measurement and data recording equipment. We take great pride in knowing all of our products are derived from sound engineering disciplines.
