The ARB Air Locker is a pneumatic locking differential that uses air to facilitate the locking of both axles. This action converts your differential from a conventional open to a full spool type axle supplying 100% power to both wheels to keep you going through the worst terrain.
This Air Locker kit includes the full differential, instruction booklet, airline, fittings, switch and cover, and necessary seals. When combined with an Air Compressor and the original differential, you’ll have everything you need as far as parts go.

ARB RD142 Front or Rear (depending on vehicle and year) Air Locker Toyota 12 Bolt Full Float is made for a wide variety of Toyota vehicles that use the 12 Bolt Full Float 30 Spline differential (solid axle).

The ARB Toyota 12 Bolt Full Float 30 Spline Air Locker RD142 for your 30 spline axle for all gear ratios, can instantly lock differentials and allow you to tackle the toughest off-road terrain. The world’s best traction aid, ARB Air Lockers keep you moving in all conditions.

Air Lockers from ARB are currently available in over 100 configurations to suit a wide range of off-road and 4×4 vehicles from around the world. Because the Toyota 12 Bolt Full Float 30 Spline ARB RD142 air locker is only engaged when needed, it can be installed in BOTH the front and rear axles, with separate switches independently controlling the RD142 air locker from within the off-road truck or vehicle.

Installation of the ARB RD142 air locker should be performed by a qualified differential technician, although no special tools or skills are required apart from those necessary for fitting a standard differential. When installed with an ARB air compressor (high output or mini), the ARB RD142 – Toyota 12 Bolt Full Float 30 Spline locker system is supplied as a complete kit which contains all of the parts necessary for proper installation, including industrial grade control switches, air lines and fittings. ARB offers two compressor models suitable for Air Locker operation (high output air compressor or mini air compressor). A dedicated air activation system is available which is extremely durable and compact. Alternatively a larger compressor can be specified, which is also perfect for inflating tires, air mattresses and a host of other applications where compressed air is required.

Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series REAR 1990 to 1997 models (uses stock bearings)

**Late model 50.0mm ID carrier bearings (eg. from an 80 series) must be used to suit the larger bearing journal the Air Locker uses. This will also improve bearing life
