Front Struts

IMS struts have adjustable coil seats, allowing for lift heights of up to 3", and also being able to fine tune any vehicle lean that may occur. To get get more lift than the listed coil height, the coil seat on the IMS struts will be raised accordingly. Put notes in your order at checkout letting us know what height you want them set at, if we are assembling them prior to shipping

Add Upper Control Arms (UCA's)?

Running new UCA's will allow for the best wheel alignment, as well as steering control, ride quality, and articulation

Add Diff Drop Kit?

Adding a front diff drop kit will reduce the CV angle, helping to reduce the wear on the joints and the CV boots. Ideal for 2.5" of lift.

Add Front Bump Stops?

If you regularly offroad a lot and risk bottoming out the front end, upgraded high quality bump stops are recommended

Add Rear Bump Stops?

If you regularly offroad a lot and risk bottoming out the rear end, upgraded high quality bump stops are recommended

Add Rear Panhard Rod?

Lifting the rear 2" or more can lead to the axle shifting to one side, and this adjustable panhard rod can correct that. It's also considerably larger and stronger than stock for less deflection and will keep the axle in position better than stock. Can be used at any lift height

Add Rear Lower Control Arms?

Dobinsons adjustable rear lower control arms allow you to dial in the pinion angle perfectly while also increasing the strength with heavy wall thickness steel arms, the strength you need for heavy offroading.

Add Rear Upper Trailing Arms?

These allow you to set the pinion angle properly once the vehicle is lifted. Fully adjustable

Add Airbags?

If you regularly tow with your vehicle, carry a motorcycle on a hitch mount, or have huge variances between daily weight and loaded trip weight, a set of Firestone helper air springs will be very useful. Inserts inside your rear coil springs to add additional load support, Manually inflate or deflate the air bags to add or remove support or height.

Add New CV Boots?

When lifting an older vehicle, the age of the CV boots will show very quickly due to the new ride height. Changing out all the CV boots may be necessary depending on the age and mileage

Upgrade Front Brakes?

This is not required with the suspension, but considering that when adding a lot more weight and rolling mass to the vehicles, the stock brakes aren't doing the job they're supposed to. Adding the Powerbrake D-Line Rotor and Pad kit gives bolt-on excellent performance without needing to replace so many parts. Or go all out with the X-Line Big Brake Kit and add massive front stopping power with new 6-piston calipers, brake lines, pads and rotors. X-Line kit requires 18" wheels for caliper clearance

Dobinsons 200 Series 1.0″ to 2.5″ IMS suspension system for the 2008-2021 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series with 5.7L V8 Gas Engine. All options of coils are listed here on the page, so you can match what lift height you want with what weight you carry. How to choose Dobinsons 200 Series suspension parts? Based on what constant accessory weight you have on your vehicle, you will get different lift heights. If you have things like bumpers, winches, roof rack, rear bumper, etc, all parts that are permanently mounted to your land cruiser, then that is constant weight. Select your coil springs to suit the constant weight and desired lift height.

Many land cruiser owners choose to lift the rear less than the front to reduce the rake from front to rear. Land Cruiser 200 Series come with a considerable rake (the rear being much higher), so by choosing 2″ front for example and 1.5″ rear, you would help level out the vehicle without it being so tall in the rear.

Dobinsons IMS monotube shock absorbers are designed for next level performance over twin tube shocks in those hot, harsh, demanding conditions. By utilising the monotube design, Dobinsons IMS shock absorbers are able to resist fade far longer on corrugated roads, long or hard working 4WD trips, towing or racing conditions.
The larger 50 and 60mm high flow pistons reduce internal pressures, reduce the heat generated, transfer heat to the body for faster cooling and offer improved damping performance and vehicle control at higher shaft speeds on rough terrain and during big impacts. Threaded bodies on struts allow for fine tuning of height and offer further improvements in cooling. The micropolished, hard chromed and heat treat shock shaft, CNC aluminium high flow race inspired piston, and DOM seamless tubing body provides the ultimate in performance and off-road durability.

Composite piston wear bands, high quality Fuchs oil and a race style 3-stage sealing system offer the lowest levels of friction whilst maintaining durability and longevity without the need for frequent rebuilding or servicing. Dobinsons team of engineers spend hundreds of hours of testing and tuning the shim stacks and damping Characteristics in each IMS shock to ensure a balance of comfort, handling, vehicle control and off-road performance – Enjoy the ride
