Description

Dobinsons Rear Adjustable Hydro Bump Stop Kit for Toyota and Lexus SUV’s, this kit suits Toyota 4Runner from 2003-2024, FJ Cruiser all years, Toyota Prado 120 and 150 all years, Lexus GX470 all years, Lexus GX460 all years.  Will only suit vehicle with coil spring rear ends, no airbags, and cannot work in conjunction with aftermarket airbag kits that fit inside the coil springs.  This hydraulic bump stop kit replaces the factory inner bump stop that holds the coil springs in place and also provides additional bottom-out protection.  The Dobinsons Rear Adjustable Hydro Bump Stop kit also retains the original external bump stop on the frame, and the kit comes with spacer blocks to lower the original bump stop down to meet the same bottom-out level as the new hydraulic bumps.  You can replace the original frame-mounted bump stop with an aftermarket one if you’d like.

Dobinsons rich racing history has produced the line of IMS and MRA shock absorbers and this monotube technology has now been passed into the new hydro bump stop line.  The larger 50 and 60mm high flow pistons reduce internal pressures, reduce the heat generated, transfer heat to the body for faster cooling and offer improved damping performance and vehicle control at higher shaft speeds on rough terrain and during big impacts. Threaded bodies allow for fine tuning of height and offer further improvements in cooling.

The micro-polished, hard chromed and heat treated shock shaft, CNC aluminum high flow race inspired piston, and DOM seamless tubing body provides the ultimate in performance and off-road durability.

Composite piston wear bands and a race style 3-stage sealing system offer the lowest levels of friction whilst maintaining durability and longevity.
