Dobinsons JL JT Adjustable Front Lower Arms for Jeep JL Wrangler 2018+ 2-door and 4-door and Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+ – These are adjustable front Jeep JL and JT lower control arms, to be used on any JEEP lifted or not, up to 3″ of lift. This kit comes with both side lower arms and also includes Rubber bushings pressed into the Dobinsons WA29-558K arms, as they are maintenance and noise-free. Rubber bushings allow for greater flex (travel). These adjustable arms will allow you to properly set your caster angle due to adding a lift, while also adding strength over the stock arms. Suitable also for long travel rear suspension setups.

NOTE: The Dobinsons JL JT Adjustable Front Lower Arms threaded end goes towards the frame end, and the curved section of the arm faces towards the frame, to maximize tire clearance when turning. This angled position provides additional tire scrub radius clearance, which is extremely important on 35″ or 37″ tires, as they will hit the stock arms too easily, damaging your tires and potentially damaging other parts as well.

Instructions for use: Set the initial length of the Dobinsons Adjustable Front Lower Arms to the same as factory arms, then add 1/2″ or so to the overall length. Install, then check the caster angle, then add at 1/4″ increments until your caster angle is set properly. Adding too much length could lead to driveline vibrations. It’s recommended to use blue Loctite under each of the nuts once they are in their final adjusted position to keep them in place. Excessive flexing without the front sway bar connected can loosen them up otherwise.

Dobinsons heavy duty front control arms are the some of the most affordable on the market, while adding necessary strength to the front end. The last thing you want when you offroad a lot is a bent arm, as this affects your alignment and your vehicle will not track straight down the road. With 5mm thick wall tubing, you can’t go wrong with a set of these.
