On Non – Rubicon models with factory sport or factory steel wheels, a 1/4 inch front wheel spacer may be required. Since the Rusty’s tie rod ends are so massive they make contact with the edge of the factory wheels.  All after market custom wheels will have no issues.  

Description

Rusty’s HD Steering System for the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator works great as a stand-alone replacement upgrade and creates a steering system that is nearly indestructible! Sold as a complete unit that includes the complete tie rod and drag link assemblies with ends, plus a steering stabilizer bracket. Nothing else needs to be added. Rusty’s JL/JT Steering System starts with a massive 1.75″ x 5/16 wall DOM tubing for both the tie rod and the drag link. Stronger than solid steel bar! Equally massive 1.25 threaded zinc plated forged adjustable ends thread into the heavy-wall tubing with jam nuts and HD steering stabilizer bracket.

The factory steering linkage is complicated and features compound angles that don’t respond well to lifts over any heights and the system has also proven to have a few weak points. The Rusty’s Steering for JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator models is beefier than anything on the market and addresses the factory shortcomings while adding significant strength all at the same time! when looking to upgrade or simply replace your factory steering components you can’t go wrong with this system. All U.S.A. tie rod ends and components are available individually as well so replacement in the future you are not stuck having to purchase an entire tie rod or drag link again.
