A new brand for Exit Offroad has been added to the site this week, Factor 55!! This is to compliment the already huge range of recovery gear we offer, but mainly as add-ons for the winches we sell, giving people a huge variety of different ways to customize their rigs. Many of you already know who Factor 55 are and what they do, but we’ll break it down real quick here for you in case you haven’t heard of them before.

About Factor 55:

Located in Boise, Idaho we are an engineering design firm specializing in mechanical design and analysis. Our staff has extensive experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and semiconductor industry but we have always been passionate about off roading through out our careers. All of our products are designed in house using the latest 3D CAD software and optimized using Cosmos FEA ( Finite Element Analysis). Before we release any products to the public, we also perform a destructive test on each design with the assistance of a test facility equipped with test measurement and data recording equipment. We take great pride in knowing all of our products are derived from sound engineering disciplines. Why go through all of this for the off road market? We here at Exit Offroad are very selective about which brands and which specific items we offer for sale. Over the years, bumper have been one of the more difficult things to sell and ship across the country without damage due to the way so many items are packaged and handled during transit. Now Warn Industries have created an excellent lineup of more compact Warn bumpers with an excellent coating and great packaging to alleviate those issues. With the Jeep Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator JT and new model Ford Bronco taking over the top spots in the overlanding market, we can’t ignore that we need to offer more parts for these vehicles.
