Just a quick installation on a Sunday afternoon, adding the Timbren Active Offroad rear bump stops to my 2014 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner. Recently on a long trip out west, there were a few times where I bottomed out unexpectedly while fully loaded with all my camping gear, and I new it was silly of me to not have already upgraded from the stock bump stops. Just about 30 minutes is all it took (less time to record the video) and now I’m ready to see how these things perform.

Timbren Active Offroad bump stops provide a more progressive rate of absorption when they make contact with the axle, thus lessening the force and impact that gets sent through the frame when the suspension bottoms out. This in turn helps provide more comfort inside the car, maintains control by not freaking you out when you hear a big hit, and also makes sure that the shocks don’t get to full compression too easily, which could potentially damage the shocks quite rapidly.

Check out the video linked here and let me know if you have any questions about them!!
