- Serrated Oval / Distorted Thread Locking Nut – The factory sway bar material expands and contracts as you drive, thus causing the nut to come loose and the sway bar link to disconnect. This is not ideal. This style nut, is the best solution we have found to the issue, though we do still recommend the use of thread locker at install

- Rod end machined to accept hex key to prevent the rod end from spinning during installation. Other brands come with a nut on the inner side of the shaft, which is harder to use and more likely to cause you to tear the boot upon installation

Apache Offroad 2″ Rear Bump Stop Extensions | 4Runner FJ Cruiser GX470 GX460
- Apache Offroad 2″ Rear Offset Bump Stop Extensions are required for rear long travel applications
- Prevents the shock from limiting out during up travel and damaging the shock, thus shortening its life
- Our 2″ extensions allow for maximum travel and are offset to allow for the use of larger tires without rubbing, as they are prone to do in the factory location
- They also reposition the bump stop to account for correct alignment with your long travel suspension
- Fabricated out of 3/16″ steel and powder coated black.
